Interior vs. Exterior Detailing: Which Does Your Car Need?

Booking a detail and not sure if your car needs the inside done, the outside done, or both? A few questions make it clear.

Interior detailing

Interior detailing is a deep clean of everything inside the cabin. We vacuum the seats, carpets, mats, and trunk. We shampoo or steam-clean the upholstery and carpets. We wipe down and condition the dash, console, doors, and trim. We clean the glass and take care of pet hair and odors.

Go with interior detailing if your car carries kids or pets. Or if there’s a stain or smell you can’t get out. Or if it just feels grimy inside. For a family car, it resets the whole cabin. The crumbs, the dried mud, the mystery smell — all gone.

Riding with pets?

Love riding with your dog but hate the hair? Pet hair burrows deep into carpets, mats, and seat fabric, and it brings dander along with it. Add our Pet Hair Removal option when you book and we’ll pull it out of the fibers and leave the cabin fresher and cleaner.

Exterior detailing

Exterior detailing is about the paint and the outside surfaces. It includes a hand wash, wheels and tires, bug and tar removal, a polish to bring back the shine, and a wax or sealant to protect it.

Go with exterior detailing if your paint looks dull or spotty. Or if bugs or tree sap have been sitting on it. Or if you want to protect the finish from Oklahoma sun and storms.

Do you need both?

Most cars do. That’s why the complete detail, inside and out, is what most people book. If you can only pick one, choose interior when the cabin is the problem and exterior when the paint is. Not sure? Tell us what’s going on. We’ll look at the car and give you a straight answer.
